COLOR ME, 2019

Color Me was asked to be brought back again for the 2019 installment of CAMP TRiP Oasis. Lizzy Nunez wanted to create another inclusive and immersive space like the previous year, but she had an even bigger vision for the second installation of Color Me. Nunez had the opportunity to work with Brittany Monjes and Travis Zebe again. Alongside Nunez, Monjes, and Zebe were the talented Cailey Washington and Ruby Solorzano.

With a bigger team, the second installment of Color Me was expanded to 24 ft., it featured 16 reclaimed pallets, and the framing was recycled from the previous year’s installation. Over a 3-day span, the letters featured Monjes’ artwork were colored in during the weekend of September 27-29, 2019 in Weldon, CA.
